4-24-10 Caer Avallach Farm welcomed Avallach's Irish Cream ("Bailey") and Anotha Tough cookie ("Elsie") home from 30 days of training on April 11th and now have a full barn back in training. Both mares came home with a great base of training and are now working on continuing that work and gaining fitness and endurance. Bailey has turned out to be an incredibly easy filly to work with and has that great Whiskey work ethic just like her siblings. Nancy, who also started Avallach's Whiskey River ("Willie") and Avallach's Whiskey Lullaby ("Lily") under saddle just raved about Bailey's great attitude and physical ability. We are really looking forward to seeing her and her sister Avallach's Irish Coffee ("Latte") begin attending local shows this summer for experience.

Elsie has also turned out to love her post-racing life and is as quiet and easy-going under saddle and she is on the ground.

2-14-10 Caer Avallach Farm LLC is now on Facebook!! Look for our page and become a fan to get the latest updates on our ponies.

12-31-09 Congratulations to Gia Sarkis on the purchase of Avallach's Whiskey Lullaby ("Lily")! Gia trains with Tiffiany Bianco at Genesis Farm in Enfield, CT and is looking forward to showing off her new pony in the hunter ring this summer! It was very hard for us to part with this filly, who is one of my all time favorites, but we knew this would be a great opportunity for Lily to have a little girl of her own. We will be posting updates of the pair as they grow and develop into the awesome pair we know they will be!

3-18-2010 Looks like we have some early spring weather here in Connecticut and we are taking full advantage of the warm days to start. Avallach's Irish Coffee ("Latte") went back into work and is loving having a job again! We're hoping for an early spring but will definitely take all the beautiful days we can get in March!

3-13-2010 Spring is in the air at Caer Avallach Farm! We have delivered Avallach's Irish Cream ("Bailey") and Anotha Toughcookie ("Elsie") to Nancy Cole at Northern Lights Farm to begin their spring training. Bailey, our lastest baby, is starting her under saddle career and Elsie, the OTTB from Suffolk we purchased in Novemeber, will start her retraining to see what her second career will be. We are really looking forward to updates on these two girls!
