Keep the Change ("Kacey") is everything you could want in a made show horse. A TB gelding standing 16.2 +h with tons and tons of experience in everything from walk-trot, short stirrup to adult amateurs.
He is a wonderful schoolmaster who can jump a course with auto-swaps in his sleep. An ideal opportunity for someone who wants to work on their riding (not training the horse) or just have fun!
Kacey has been working as a school horse at Kasson Ridge Farm for the last year. He has done everything from beginner walk-trot lessons to modified adults. He is a gentleman at the shows and a true "teacher". Horses like this come along once in a very long time.
Kacey is coming 20 and is in perfect health. He takes joint supplements and eats Senior feed but other than that is an easy keeper in every way.
He will only be offered for sale to JUST the right situation, so if interested please contact us for more information.
Price - $3,500 to a VERY good home
Saving Grace ("Gracie") - very sweet 12 yr old gray QH mare standing 15.1 h. Gracie came to us with Branwen (show below) as the result of a divorce situation but needed some time to get back to good health - she had an abscess and was quite underweight. We treated the foot (which is now 100% healed with x-rays to prove it), had her teeth floated and started her on a diet more appropriate for a horse of her size.
She has rehabilitated incredibly well and we have recently started her back in work. After spending two weeks at Kasson Ridge Farm where we had access to an indoor she is now W-T-C and trotting the occasional cavaletti. She was most likely broke as a Western horse but we have been riding her both in a dressage style as well as a hunter style. She is literally learning more and more every day and craves attention. She has hacked around the property and seems like she would be great on trails - come spring if we still have her we will test that out!
Gracie will do best in an environment in which she has a lot of outside turnout (in fact she is the ideal candidate for living outside with access to a run in shed or barn). Living inside too much tends to cause her to have heave-like allergies, although the fitter that she has gotten the better she is!
The perfect home for Gracie is one where she has lots of attention and good care where she can find a best friend. She really is just a good all around family type horse that is safe, sane and very loving. If you think you can offer her that home please contact us for more details.
Price - $3,000 Negotiable to a VERY good home
SOLD! Congratulations to Tiffany Bianco of Kensington Ridge Stables
Branwen - beautiful black 14.1 h Wel/Morgan (?) mare, 10-12 yrs old. Branwen came to us as a rescue mare as a result of a divorce situation. She is a lovely pony mare who wants nothing more than attention and love and she is SMART. We have a whole page dedicated just to Branwen that you can see here. She is in perfect health and we have brought her up to date on all shots, Coggins, worming and she just had her teeth floated so she is ready to be someone's winter project.
LEASED!
We are offering one of our broodmares, Quillane Tica ("Maddie") for lease this coming breeding season. If you breed hunters or sport ponies you should take a look at this outstanding mare as a possible addition to your program. She is an approved American Sport Pony and has a breath-taking jump and big, sweeping movement. At just about 14.0 h she is a perfect size for producing large ponies and is a registered half-Welsh as well. See more of Maddie on her page.
