Avallach's
Shot Glass - Born 5/21/2002 (photo taken 9/9/2008) TB/WEL
reg ASPR gelding standing just under 13.1 h with no shoes.
This
beautiful gelding is the produce of a dam named "Mati" that
we leased from Champlain Isle Farm in Isle La Motte, VT. Sired
by Avallach's Irish Whiskey, this gelding shows tremendous physical
talent making him suitable as a prospect for the medium pony division.
He has big, sweeping movement with a freedom through his shoulder
and natural push from behind. A clear hack winner.
In addition to the hunters, Shot has spent time in dressage training and been evaluated by a professional trainer who commented that he has "exceptional gaits". With his movement and jumping ability he truly is a pony that could go in many different directions!
Shot
Glass was presented to the American Sportpony Registry is October
2002 and was graded a First Premium sportpony colt! Comments from
the judges included "very good trot" and "excellent
type". He has also showed on the line at Devon as a two-year
old.
Shot Glass is a smaller built pony and looks like a small TB. He therefore is more suited to a petite rider. He has a naturally forward step and will jump anything. We recently have been told by a number of people that he would be well suited to pony club!
We do not have a rider small enough to show Shot Glass and are therefore actively seeking (and well motivated!) a home or potential lease situation for him to gain mileage over the next year. If you are interested please contact us for more information.

Avallach's Whiskey Lullaby ("Lily") - although "technically" for sale, this 5/6/2005 bay filly by Avallach's Irish Whiskey out of Quillane Tica is a farm favorite and it would take a lot to pry this filly away!
Lily is the one and only foal we were able to get of this cross due to the fact that Quillane Tica was not able to conceive using frozen semen, so she is quite special to us.
Lily has movement to die for and personality that is larger than life. She has a natural love of jumping and if turned loose in the ring will literally jump courses on her own ... all with perfect flying changes.
This filly has presence and will make herself seen in the ring. Lily has an awesome work ethic and thrives under saddle. She is one of the easiest four-year olds you can find! Everyone who meets her falls in love.
Video shows Lily after 30 days of training:
SOLD! Congratulations to Gia Sarkis on her purchase of Lily!
